What are 3D Printed Veneers?
3D printed veneers are permanent tooth covers that are manufactured from a 3D printer using FDA-approved dental-specific resins. They are permanently bonded to your teeth without the need to drill or remove any tooth structure. Different from traditional ceramic porcelain veneers, 3D printed veneers start as a liquid resin, and through a light curing process, they harden and are formed into veneers using 3D printing technology.
How Much Do 3D Printed Veneers Cost?
We charge a flat fee of $500 per tooth and require a non-refundable $300 diagnostic design fee. The diagnostic design fee is required so that we can digitally design your future smile, 3D print your models, and show you what your new smile will look like prior to the procedure.

Am I a Candidate for 3D Printed Veneers?
Not everyone will be a candidate for 3D printed veneers, especially those with severely misaligned or rotated teeth. If you have weakened teeth, heavily decayed, or broken down teeth, this procedure is not recommended. This is because the veneers are very thin and can only cover so much until additional treatment is needed for optimum results.
How Long Do They Last?
These are permanently bonded to your teeth and to remove them would require drilling them off. With proper care of your teeth, they will last 5+ years.
Which Teeth Can Be Veneered?
We recommend all the teeth that show when you smile, so everyone is a little different; some people show more teeth when they smile, others show less. Molar teeth do not get veneered.
What’s the Process Like?
If you’re interested in 3D printed veneers, an initial consultation is required so that Dr. Ha can assess your smile and bite. If he deems that you are a good fit for this procedure, he will take digital scans of your teeth and discuss the size and shape you desire. Following the initial appointment, Dr. Ha will have the diagnostic model ready for you to inspect. If you are happy with it, Dr. Ha will print your veneers and then deliver them during the final appointment.
How Do You Take Care of 3D Printed Veneers?
Similarly to your natural teeth, you would brush and floss them to remove any bacteria and food to provide a long-lasting, beautiful smile.
